Dehumidifier in a Can®

Ecstatic

Eureka!  No, not the vacuum cleaner but a brilliant idea.  While trying to see into my bathroom mirror after showering, I came up with a fantastic new product.

Dehumidifier in a Can
® .

To eliminate all that pesky steam in the air, all one need do is pssssst, spray a little Dehumidifier in a Can
® into the air.  At once, the secret ingredients in Dehumidifier in a Can® will extract all the unwanted steam from the air, congeal and drop to the floor, not unlike the premise behind clumping cat litter but much neater.  The gelatinous pellets are then swept up and thrown into the trash.  Do not flush them or dispose of them in the sink as this would have disastrous results.

And just because I invented them, the gelatinous pellets would be purple for easier viewing and clean up.

I haven't work out the ingredients yet (minor detail) but when I do, rest assured I will be richer, more famous and also living off the profits of my Plane on a String
®  which keeps track of aircraft flying through the Bermuda Triangle.

That's Dehumidifier in a Can
® for the can.

If you steal more more more of my sunshine

I've got the enhanced ability to make connections lately.  Tonight was no exception.  While listening to retro night on the local light station, I heard songs like "You can ring my bell" and "Play that Funky Music White Boy," which of course, is no longer politically correct.  When I heard an instrumental interlude during "More More More," I suddenly asked myself, "Does he like butter tarts?"

That's when I realized that Len's "If you steal my sunshine" had stolen, er, um, sampled, that part of the Andrea True Connection song.  I wondered if I was the only person who noticed this.

Nope.  The first commenter noticed it.  I feel vindicated. My connecting skills are legitimate.  Thank you internets.

I'm not really complaining. I like both songs.  And butter tarts.

No problem.

Are women actually supposed to use these

Dish Gloves

They seem a little impractical.  I'm just saying.

I need you When I get where I'm going

I just heard the start of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's latest song and was waiting to her Brad Paisley start singing, "I'm gonna walk with my Grandaddy."  But instead Tim McGraw starts singing, "I wanna drink that shot of whiskey."

What?

That doesn't sound right.  If he keeps drinking like that, he's going to get where he's going a whole lot quicker.

Did anybody else hear that these songs sound remarkably alike?

Song Fight! When I should be doing something else

I found the band Hostess Mostess from their entry in the current Songfight! battle Gray Rainbow.  I found this great song in their archives, a winner from a previous battle called "Here Comes My Dragon."

Listen for yourself: here comes my dragon by Hostess Mostess

Isn't that an interesting sound?  I think so. Great song writing and performing.  What say you?

Love is patient, love is kind.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It is not jealous, it is not pompous,
It is not inflated, it is not rude,
it does not seek its own interests,
it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury,
it does not rejoice over wrongdoing
but rejoices with the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails.

If there are prophecies, they will be brought to nothing;
if tongues, they will cease;
if knowledge, it will be brought to nothing.
For we know partially and we prophesy partially,
but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.
When I was a child, I used to talk as a child,
think as a child, reason as a child;
when I became a man, I put aside childish things.
At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror,
but then face to face.
At present I know partially;
then I shall know fully, as I am fully known.
So faith, hope, love remain, these three;
but the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-13

I am so late to the party

I found the 80's alternative station on aol radio...only a few days ago.

I am currently listening to the Police sing "Bring on the Night." I never heard this song before now but I immediately thought, "This sounds like 'Edge of Seventeen' by Stevie Nicks.  To test my theory, I googled the two song titles only to find that I am so late to the party.

Okay, I'm Moblogging this....not!

I just realized that Moblogging has nothing to do with the Casa Nostra's accounting sheets but is about blogging while being out and about.

How embarrassing is that???

Speaking of blogging, I started a new journal for the new year.  You can find it here:

2007:The Year of Living Franziliciously*

*thanks, Zimbopitt for the nickname.

The year in review

I noticed my "Projects for 2006: I can dream, right?" list on the refrigerator this evening.  I looked through it to see what I had or had not accomplished from the list.

I was surprised and pleased to see that I had accomplished the major projects and goals.  I altered some and just ditched others.  But all in all, I am quite content with my successes.

The updated Projects for 2006: I can dream, right? is finished for this year.

I wish a very blessed and enjoyable New Year to all.
