Sunflowers:  They're growing like weeds

I planted sunflower seeds with my second graders Thursday last week.    The plants are growing at a tremendously fast rate.  Look at the difference two days makes.  I need to get some potting soil and get them each a new home...soon.  Their peat pellets with a view aren't roomy enough for them anymore.

    I got the soil for their new homes on Saturday.  The game plan now is to transplant them without breaking anything off. :D

    This is so cute.  I really should do this with Lex & Emma. They have potted plants outdoors that they take care of but growing one from scratch would really be something.
