Sunflower!

The first sunflower blossomed today! It's a great Fourth of July event. I get excited over stuff like this. It's the little things in life that matter.

I remember my Nana had these in her garden every summer. I'd forgotten about that until now... I'll have to try growing my own next summer.

I don't remember how long it takes the seeds to form and then they need to be dried. So I'm guessing at least 3-4 weeks.
