Scattered Thoughts

N is for Nuns.

I spent time talking with Mother Assumpta Long and another member (whose name I have forgotten. Sorry sister.) of the fairly recently formed Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. I had no idea how much fun nuns are!  They were jovial, laughed at my jokes, and cracked a few of their own.  Their commitment to serving God and their dedication to the faith is admirable.

I felt like I was the middle of a nun sandwich during this photo op. :D

  Assumpta was a new name for me too.  But it just seemed to fit her.

  I don't think I've ever heard the first name "Assumpta".  Gotta love wisecracking nuns. :-)
