Half-a$$ed rhetoric
I've been watching and listening to a lot of perspectives regarding Obama and his "former" pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. For a week, I've flipped between the channels and read online different articles regarding this association. It culminated yesterday with Obama's response in a speech. I've listened to those from both sides of the situation, those defending the association and those questioning the association. Guess what? The speech is a load of bull and I'll tell ya why it is.
I imagine what I'm about to say will probably be incendiary to many people. But since Obama has brought up the issue of race, ok so lets lay it out there from my perspective. I've not just jumped off the turnip truck, I've been in this world for a little while. Obama has black and white roots going through his family tree. He spoke of his white grandmother who made racial comments regarding black men and these statements made Obama cringe. This is his family, his grandmother, however we don't choose our family. We do, however, choose our associations, our friends. On Friday, March 14th, Obama had an interview with the Fox News network and stated then he was not aware of such statements of hate made by Mr. Wright. Then during his speech this week he admitted to hearing these "divisive" statements made by Mr. Wright. He lied last week about these statements and only admitted knowing about them now because he could not squash the situation. It was still evident in the media and people were asking. The speech was a brilliant speech. Yes, it was worded eloquently and was impeccable. BUT!!! I consider this speech a flashbang, the totality of the speech was to bring into the forefront the race issue this country has had for decades. Nice diversion, Barack. It was touchy feely, it brought out the warm fuzzies of "we need to come together" and "we can change". A diversion to the problem in Senator Obama's campaign of association and judgement. The problem of associations with characters who have beliefs of hate, anti-American ideology and questionable business tactics. Which makes him questionable on making good judgements.
Tony Rezko, now indicted for federal charges of attempted extortion, money laundering and fraud, has known Obama 18 years. For more on Rezko read the links below....

Rashid Khalidi is another questionable association:
Mr. Jeremiah Wright, Obama considers him to be part of his family and has known him for 20 years. The pastor makes statements in sermons about our government infecting the black community with HIV/AIDS. How "America's chickens came back to roost" in regard to the 9/11 attacks. Along with the association of Louis Farrakhan, Mr. Wright has been to Libya to meet with Muammar Qaddafi.

All of these details that are coming out about Obama makes me question a lot of his judgement and in some cases his loyalty to this country and it's people. ALL of Americans. I do believe that it is possible for a black man to be president of our great country. But, not this man. Not Obama. Too many questions and questionable associations.
Never give up, Never give in, Never let go!
