Before I visited Bea in North Carolina, I spent some time in California with Julie. It was rainy most of the time I was there, so I didn't get out to see too much, but that's OK. I've been to California before, you know. I did get to spend several days with Julie's delightful family. She even took me to work with her one day. I don't think Julie noticed, but she got a few funny looks from her co-workers behind her back.
Julie has a thing for flat people, I think. Did you see the pictures on her blog? Flat Elton, Flat Elvis. You should have seen the Flats she didn't want the public to see. It was a little bit creepy, to tell you the truth. I was just as happy to get back on the road.
Hopefully, I won't be too much longer in this stupid envelope. I think I'm getting a crick in my neck.

Here's a shot of me helping Julie's youngest son make sure his teeth are
clean before bed. Yes, my toothbrush supervisory skills are excellent.

And, oh yeah, email me if you want to send Flat Scalzi here... I will take a picture of him at the famed Sopranos hangout, Bada Bings. From the outside by the sign... just 3 minutes from my house...

A crick in your neck? Maybe you need a back-brace you slouching, little flat-bastard.
With love,
Dan

Nicholas misses you Flat. He is sorry that he almost ripped you legs off..he really is sorry!! :) P.S. My Flat Entourage, says "hello". Flat Elton is still reading your flat Ghost Brigades book. Elvis still can't find his gold lame pants still... Do you have them? Happy travels!! Julie
