Feeling Sympathetic
IOWA
a few words about iowa...i feel so bad for those people. never in my life (including new orleans) have i seen such horrid scenes..but, those people in grand rapids, des moines, and a lot of other little cities and towns who were affected by the rising water from the mississippi river and other tributories, well give them credit..there has been no reports regarding looting, shooting, or other stuff that came up from new orleans. these people are helping each other, taking them in. feeding them somehow, and helping them with the basic needs of human beings..there have been evacuations of approx. 50,000 people. where did they go? not to a stadium where rapes and killings were the item of the day..oh, no. these people, white, middle of the economic scale have come together with help, tears, and food..clothing, boats, and health needs are being attended to. why? cause they are all american folks. god bless them all. the waters are starting to recede, only if there is no more rain..they will return to homes that are mostly gone, moldy, smelly and uninhabitable. bless them all. there has been no call for outside help like in n.o. these are folks helping each other...sosee ya
