Feeling Depressed
I HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DERMATOLOGIST ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO. HE FROZEN ABOUT 5 DIFFERENT SPOTS ON MY BODY. MAINLY ON MY FACE. THIS PAST FRIDAY I GOT A CALL FROM HIS OFFICE. HE WANTS TO SEE ME AGAIN, SEEMS ONE OF THE BIOPSY REPORTS CAME BACK WITH A POSSIBLE "CANCER". WOULD U BELIEVE ON MY CHEEK. YIKES. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE END OF AUGUST..LOOKING AT THE PLACE THEY THINK IT IS, I SEE A DISFIGUREMENT. I AM GOING TO CALL ON MONDAY AND SEE IF HE CAN SEE ME. THE OTHER WONDERFUL NEWS OF THE WEEK CAME AFTER I WENT BACK TO THE ORTHOPEDI REGARDING MY RIGHT HAND. I HAD SEEN A NEUEROLOGIST AND THE REPORT CAME BACK AS CARPEL TUNNEL. HOLY COW, WHAT KIND OF A WEEK WAS FRIDAY!!!!NOW I HAVE TO CONTACT MY PRIMARY DOCTOR TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR A HAND BRACE. THE ORTHO MAN SAID TO HAVE AN OPERATION ON MY HAND. I WILL TRY THE BRACE THING FIRST..I JUST HATE GOING TO THESE GUYS WHO HAVE PEDIST AS THEIR LAST NAME..I HAVE HAD CANCER 19 YEARS AGO. IT REALLY PLAYS GAMES IN YOUR HEAD..OH WELL, I WILL REPORT ALL FINDINGS..SEE YA

A week full of uncertainties regarding your health must have really drained you, to say the very least. It's too bad they can't get you in any sooner than late August to determine the seriousness of the spot on your cheek. I wish you all the best.
I don't have personal experience with carpal tunnel, but from what I do know ~ it's no picnic. I hope the brace will help and that you won't have to have surgery.

Good luck! I had one removed right in front of my ear a few months ago and it can hardly be seen now. I have to go back soon for several places also on my face. I'm very light skinned and always forget to use sun screen. Dread the one on my nose and hope it isn't skin cancer but I'm afraid it is. Again good luck to you. Paula

i had carpal and cubitol tunnel surgery a few years ago. when you go back to the doctor, you might ask him about exercises you can do, along with wearing the wrist brace. also ask him about vitamins or supplements that will help (there's something, and I can't remember what it is! niacin, i think). chin up, my friend. we're all sending good thoughts your way.
