Home from NY NY

View from Westin Lobby.

We were on the 35th floor. Nice. We got massages the first evening and crashed from 6 pm to 7am...waking to room service. So nice.

On line for Ariel.

Back from Vacation...Traveling Band of Waxes!

So, we are back from our lovely vacation. The weather in Alabama and Mississippi was so nice. The temperature was in the mid 80's most days and not at all humid, which is much different from how it normally is. The condo at Orange Beach, AL was fabulous! I'll never forget the first walk in and how the condo seemed to go on forever. We had so much room and enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and the deck overlooking the waterway was gorgeous.

Despite a few squabbles, it was all in all, a great bonding family time. I just love my family! The teenagers drove their own car and the rest of us rode in the other car. That may have helped a lot as far as getting along. We took our time, spent the night on the road in every Holiday Inn Express we could find. We visited family and took in a mall outside of Atlanta. I'm sad it's over.

The Gulf...with a knee.

Eating out just over the line in Florida!

Look at all the freckles between the two of us!

Then we drove to Brandon where we visited my parents...and their bird...

Papa made the boys dreamcatchers...here they are doing their job...

King Tut Wrappers!

At the Egyptian Bazaar John and his buddies were "wrapping" about King Tut and his life. It was pretty cool.

Michael and his friend ran the Jingo table.

The cool thing is both boys are going to either be on the television or in the newspaper. Will post about that later.

All Gone

The last puppy has found a home. A nice family from Indian Trail got him today. Uno will be very spoiled as they have designated his own room and lots of toys plus 2 boys to play with. Lucky dog.
