So half the readers like commenting in email( & can continue to do so) & the other half keep telling me to put comments back. Ok, I'll try that again for a while. My entry on Mother loss got the biggest response of anything I've ever posted. Not because I wrote it so well, but because everyone has a Mom story in their heart.

POSSESSIONS AND DUST
I LOOK AT THE DUST FROM THE PAST
AND REALIZE THAT ALL THAT IS MINE
WILL SOON BE DUST ALSO.
TO KNOW THAT WHAT WAS ONCE TREASURED
SOON BECOMES VAGUE,
AND SOON AFTER FORGOTTEN.
POSSESSIONS ONCE CARED FOR LIE NEGLECTED.
THEIR VALUE LOST WITH THEIR OWNERS.
AND COVERED WITH DUST.
TIS SAD, YET TRUE. TO LOOK AT THESE THINGS AND THINK,
OF DREAMS AND TIMES THAT WERE,
BUT ARE NO MORE.
AND THE VALUE OF THESE THINGS AND THOUGHTS
LIE IN THE THOUGHTS OF THOSE GONE, BUT STILL CARED FOR,
AND NOT IN THEMSELVES.
SO IT IS. SO IT WILL ALWAYS BE. AND TO MINE WILL COME IN TIME..
