When it's over

Going to my parents cemetery every day (for short periods) might seem disadvantageous ( read: neurotic).  But that is what Briege & I  (shades of Stephen King) have been doing.  Briege is perfectly at ease making a playground of the dead.

Mom used to go to the cemetery often, drinking it in. I'd just stay by her silently wondering  WHY?  What could?  Now that my parents inordinately complex & individual perculiarities have passed down~pseudo speciation at its best~ I understand.

On bright sunny days, the air there tastes like homemade pudding, warm vanila with nutmeg sprinkled on top.

I leave full.

Even as a kid I used to like walking the quarter mile down from our house to the church with the cemetery where generations of my ancestors on both sides are buried, and where my father is now buried.  It is peaceful and lovely, and I feel close to those who are there, even the ones I never knew.  I don't think there's anything wrong or peculiar about visiting your parents daily right now.  It's still so new.  I'm glad it is satisfying to you.

Amazing and so interesting.  I'm glad you leave full.  It's good for you to do this if you leave feeling like that.

You are lucky to have a friend along.  Briege sounds so adorable.

    Hugs, Kathy
