Wished I Could Find The Words

I Wish I could find the words, to tell the world just how I feel.

About the love I feel from the Lord, and how I feel it so real.

Sometimes at night I weep alone thinking on the things He has done.

Like a dream or a vision He gives, to his daughters and to his sons.

Then at times money will come to meet a need they had no way of knowing.

From unlikely sources so it seems, from sources I had not been sowing.

Things done today in this world may or may not last.

But the best thing He has done for us, was done long ago in ages past.

He showed his love by forgiving our sins, to humans who could never deserve it.

He proved his love by dying on the cross and all of creation will never ever forget it.

How He not only died but He rose again, and this can certainly be proven.

Cause Christ in us, the hope of glory, shows the world He wasn't just fooling!

The Barn

A shovel handle standing up

from inside the barn is not hard to see.

A wagon wheel spinning round

so easy and so free.

A crowbar standing up in the corner

with nothing to do at all.

A calf is looking for its mom;

you think when you hear it bawl?

The smell of hay from way back then

seems so near today.

But the other smells I remember from then,

makes me glad they are far away!

"Be More Caring"

If Jesus were here today

walking along our streets;

I wonder if he would find kindness

or something free to eat?

Would he be turned down

when he asked us to be his friend?

Or be rejected because of his clothes

and the color of his skin?

Would our churches receive him

or reject him for fear of a fuss?

Because he sure didn't act or dress,

anything like the rest of us!

He usually causes a riot

in most places that he attends.

Because he doesn't go looking for the religious;

but what he's looking for, are friends!

Truth is ~ ~ He is here walking

upon our busy streets today.

And when we reject his children;

we are also turning him away!

Our churches should be more caring

when people make an effort to attend.

Because Jesus is visiting and hoping,

that he will be welcomed in.

So remember to be more caring

and less judgmental of them.

For when we are kind to his children

we are being kind to him.

Words Will Come

Words will come to you in time when it's time to share.

To share with them the words I give to let them know I care.

To show them that the road their on is leading them away.

Turn around! Tell them now! Salvation is here today.

Just bow your head and bend your heart while thinking on the cross.

How Jesus did die for you, for you, He paid a great cost.

He gave his life for all to see, this is what they need to be told.

Speak louder now, don't hold back. It's time to share, it's time to be bold.

A Love Like That

The love of God is so great, beyond measurement of any kind.

I know it may sound silly, but when I think of his vast greatness;

It just plain ole boggles my mind!

Jesus suffered on a cross, and died there just for us.

He was beaten and spit upon, and he didn't even make a fuss.

He had the power to kill them all, but instead of getting upset;

He asked his Father to forgive them all, and some received forgiveness;

At least that's what I bet!

We can't understand a love like that, even to this very day!

I know in the past when He called to us, it grieved him alot,

When we turned Him away.

So if you hear Him knocking, please just let Him come in!

So that He can rearrange your house, and become your very best friend!

Riches In Jesus

He who lends to the poor is rewarded for those things done.

This is a word of advice, a word of instruction from the Son.

The rich and poor have this in common, the Lord is maker of them all.

People that want ot be rich, into a trap they might just fall.

Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith and love.

This is what Paul said to do!

Then we can have riches in Jesus; yes riches for me and for you!

Our Hearts Are Like A Letter

The aroma of Christ is arising in the land.

Stirring up a hunger in the hearts of man.

Thanks be to God, who always leads.

For our hearts are like a letter for the people to read.

A letter from Christ to the people below.

Not written on stone tablets like it was long ago.

The Spirit wrote this letter with fire and with love.

It came down from heaven, it came from above.

If someone read your letter, what message would they hear?

About a ball game, a singer, or about hunting for deer?

Love God with all of your heart, and faithfully follow his plan.

Let the aroma arise, stirring a hunger in this land.

Pathway Right

As I walk along my journey's road; doing my best to do as I am told.

Reading his word from day to day. It lights my path along the way.

It lifts me up when I am down. It has great treasures to be found.

To be a treasure hunter is my desire. To find the nuggets laying there.

Some look over them as they read to fast. So read it slow, make it last!

Let him show you what He wants you to read. Then you can say to others;

Look at this nugget He gave to me! More than not they will need it too!

For truly it is a treasure ~~~ for me and you.
