The Origins Network is offering free access to both British and Irish Origins on the 4th of July to celebrate US Independence Day. Free access to these two genealogy subscription sites will begin at 00.00GMT, July 4th, and will run until 08.00GMT on July 5th, 2006.

Datasets that can be searched on British Origins (www.britishorigins.com) include:

*    Marriage Licence Allegations (1694-1850)
*    Wills (1700 - 1845)
*    Probate records (1267- 1500 and 1383- 1883)

Free Info from Missouri

MO death certificates from 1910 to 1955 recently went on line at http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/ 

 

Scanned images of some are there, and if not yet there you can print a PDF form to mail a request for up to 5 photocopies at a time for just one buck per record!
