Memorial Day--Magnificent crane dominates the horizon

I could not resist taking this photo.  The crane rules the horizon in Phoenix, Arizona!  It is a city being reconstructed.  Monday photo shoot assignment--pic taken on Memorial Day.

I understand this pic so much. The town I live in has grown by probably 40,000 in the past 20 years AND we LOST an Air Force base.  Everywhere we go another shopping center is being built. The number of housing developments is mind boggling. I ask my husband WHO is going to support these businesses. Live in all these houses and fancy apartments.  It's such a puzzle to me.
Hope you had a good Memorial Day weekend.
