Utah baby in hospital with pneumonia...

This is my sister Margie's (in photo above) first great grandson.  It has been very cold up close to the mountain where this baby lives.   I am sure they can't wait until it warms up.  We have even had a much cooler spring than usual.  We love it, but we know those in Utah in the cold places do not!  We are all sending prayers up for this little boy who is only a month and half old.  The other baby who was having such a tough time is home from the hospital now. He lives in the same town, Cedar City. Let us hope they will both be on the mend with spring on the way.

I  talked to Raymond who said he was staying an extra day in Boulder while his cousin Camille went to be with her first grandson.  I know when a baby gets pneumonia you don't really rest too easy after that for a long while, and are on pins and needles when he gets a cold. Yes, sometimes raising kids is not easy!  Raymond said he would be comng back to Arizona on Friday.

My sister Margie, the great grandmother, just had to have the root of a tooth extracted the hard way.  She has sleep apnea which worried her husband so much, after this painful dental experience, he called her son Gaden up in the night to come over.  Margie was sleeping peacefully only to wake about 3 am to see her son lying on the flooor by her bed.  She wondered why he was there, and Floyd, who is 85, said I called him to come over for me, if not for you.  Floyd was there when the specialist told Margie that she could die in her sleep with sleep apnea and she needs to go sleep at the apnea clinic to get adjusted as she keeps throwing off her oxygen.  Well, who said that getting old and trying not to leave this world too soon was easy!

I hope the baby gets better very soon, and I hope your sister is doing better too.

Hope everything turns out ok. My son has had pneumonia before and it's absolutely a very scary thing!

That is so disheartening about the sick baby.  I hope he regains his strength soon.  It's such a hard thing to get over.

Your sister really needs to listen to the Dr.  I have sleep apnea too and need to go and get treatment.  I have no right to say anything about her.

Her husband was showing great love I think by doing whatever he could think of to protect her.  That was the touching part of this story.

I do hope that everyone pulls through this. It is never any fun to have a sick baby in the house.
