Daughters of the Shadow Men

I have been gathering costumes from the thrift store for the male characters Doc will play in the new series based on "Daughters of the Shadow Men." Sal, pictured above, was my mother's male companion in her old age who extracted as much money as he possibly could from her.  He had all around criminal tendencies but he was a semi-famous singer, so this character is going to take some doing to play.  But I am sure Doc can come as close to doing it as anybody.  I decided I had to put him to work acting as fast as I could, so we took publicity photos of him, and I liked this one so well I printed out an 8 by 10 one for both him and me.  I reward him for posing by a print of some of the best ones.  I found this sparkly shirt for a song that looked horribly expensive and was just the thing. 

I am having so much fun with the costumes.  That is one thing I have always loved about theater, finding costumes.  So look for the beginning of the new series any time soon!
