The first time I tried, I got a message saying that I can't. I tried again and now I can.

Anyone know what the scoop is?

I received my check last Thursday and the plan was just to stick into savings and forget about it.

Got back home last night from Tulsa. Not a bad trip back, but it sure is good to be back in your bed at night.

I promised pictures. Well...didn't really get them for I was busy from sunrise to sundown and the only places I went to was from the College bookstore to the restaurant at night to the motel.

I almost got blown away by tornadoes. Three tornadoes was sighted NW of Tulsa last Thursday evening/morning. That storm later created damage and deaths in Arkansas.

Anyway, sorry about the pics. Tulsa is a spread out city and only once did get downtown Tulsa and that was when I was ready to come back home.

I am in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a week relating to my job at home. Staying at a Candlewood Suites motel. It's one of those extended stays motels where you can stay as long as you want I guess. It has a full kitchen: stove, full fridge, dishwasher and sink. Free laundry as well.

Very, very sweet!

But only will be here at nights. Darn it. LOL

Anyway, I got my camera so I will have some pictures coming along soon!

It's friday and I had a chance to take most of the day off and what am I doing now? Sitting on my butt having cat naps.

Good grief. Need to get things done before Sunday.

Okay...heading off to do those things.

I have it bad.

It's Thursday evening and I haven't even started packing for next week. I leave Sunday morn at ninish am and driving those 5 1/2 hrs to Tulsa.

I know I am bad. But I have most of Saturday day to do it. Tomorrow evening I am taking my mother out to dinner for her birthday, which is next Tuesday, which I won't be here to celebrate.

Saturday night, I work at the University. The Blue Man Group is in town at the Mizzou Arena and that's going to be late time I get out of there. Gonna be a short night coming Sunday. Hope to get some sleep while going down. Doubt it though.

So I probably will get packed Saturday morn or so. Take a siesta that afternoon before work.

I am bad, ain't I? :D

For those who live in the Midwest, partically Mid-Missouri, the weather for the last few days have been gorgeous. High 60's, even up to near 80.

Had a boomer come through this morning, but by lunch time, the sun came out and the temps went up. And I am inside working. Bah.

But it's still April and that means more rain. Thursday through Sunday. Arggh.

Those May flowers better be mighty pretty, yes? Hehe...

I am heading out of town for a week Sunday morning. I am going to Tulsa, Oklahoma. It's a job-related thing and probably won't be able to see much sightseeing. I have been to Tulsa before and so have seen the sights before, so it's not a biggy.

Going to be driving though, but I am not driving. Rougly about 6 hr drive. The most interesting thing about this is getting to I-44. We have to drive through the Lake of the Ozarks to Highway 65 to Springfield and to I-44. It can be fun and quick, or it can be ugly. Depends on how many people are down there already at the Lake. It's a tourist-trap. Might be raining, but there be people there.

Coming back on May 3rd, getting back later afternoon/early evening or so.

What I am actually doing in Tulsa is helping buying books back from the students at Tulsa Community College. It's a semester thing.

Last December was my first buyback and I really enjoyed that. I went to Tucson, Arizona for that and that was a blast. Took the plane for that, of course, and had to stop in Albuquerque, NM, then to Tucson. Coming back I went to Las Vegas. Oh yeah, that was very interesting. The airport was just less than 1/2 mile from the Strip. I could have gone down there, but didn't have that much time for my flight to St.Louis. There were slot machines in the airport, but I didn't gamble. Not my thing.

Anyway, I was really disappointed that I won't be going to Tucson this year. Although I hear the temps there are already in the 90's. Yikes. When I was there, it was in the 50's with rain. I tell you what...the students were complaining big time about that! LoL

I am glad to go where ever my job tells me go to. It's fun and it's a great chance to get out of town for a bit and let loose.

gifdude's AOL Pictures Public Gallery. 

I have tried to add my Public pics to my All about Me section. It's just too large for that section, so I am going down this route.

It's pictures of buildings and such here in Columbia. Hopefully today I will get some more pics :)
