All About Me

Okay here's the scoop on me: I am 37 year old woman who has been happily married to a wonderful woman for over 10 years. I have 2 children, okay they are not really children anymore, one is 20 and the other is 18. One is pregnant and one is in the Army.  I have 3 of the cutest dogs you have ever seen (2 Shih-tzus, 1 Maltese) The Maltese's name is Pixie.

Feeling Chillin'

What have I been up too?


Let me tell you what I have been up too. Jamie has been in and out of the hospital so much, I think she is there more than here. So I had to find something to do that was A. portable and B. okay if interrupted (by Nurses).

So I started making Puppy Sweaters. I started making them for Pixie (my maltese) and my pile grew so much I started selling them on E-Bay. And now they sell like crazy. I keep my prices very low and I have gotten nothing but compliments on them. So I opened an Online store www.Petdesignsbysherri.com .

I am still working all the kinks out but so far so good. So I thought I would let everyone know so that you all could check it out and let me know what you think. I am desperate for advice.

Feeling Quiet

Screen Freeze anyone


Well I think we all had our share of screen freezes tonight. Hmmmm maybe AOL is alittle miffed with all of us chatters. That is always a possibility you know. While all those busy business people are working so hard here we are chatting with our friends having a good time. We should all be ashamed. Okay I am over it. Back to the good times.

How about some Shout-Outs:

1. BB is planning a great vacation. It consists of visiting all of our home towns. I am sure he will have the post cards to show for it. (giggling to myself)

2.Pez's popularity has hit an all time high, as she now has a clone of her very own.

3. Fro if you weren't the first person in my room every week I don't know what I would do.

4. Felix If you get a package in the mail that is wrapped in clear wrap it is from me.

5. Coo Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday. Another year older but are you wiser yet?

6. Seraph thank you for maintaining the calm during Pez's potty breaks.

Now for the ROOMIE OF THE WEEK: Philly or should I say Chas or should I say PezPeesProfusely. You are roomie of the week for finally giving Pez her very own Clone.

Feeling Mischievous

Halloween is coming


Okay first of all check out baby Rainie. She is one week old here. Doesn't she just get cuter every day?

Now this is what I was thinking about. Instead of updating you on all the wacky things that was said this week I thought since halloween was coming up I would give you some hints on your costumes.

1. Frodok - Something with lots of leaves and a sword 

2. Felix - A cat's scratching post or a hot wing. Yes I am sure of that.

3. Victoria - Something furry and cat like

4. Bren - Feathery with lots of colors. Peacock like.

5. Pez - hmmmm something with lots of leather and some whips

6. Sushi - maybe a mermaid or maybe a vicious sea rock. It's a toss up.

7. Sixtynine - I see lots and lots of rubber.

8. Philly - something foxy with fur

9. JMarti - something cute and bug like

10. Kasey - I see lots of yellow like a big Wal-Mart smiley face.

11. Ceri - Something with lots of shiney stars.

12. Scott - Some kind of outlaw, definetly with a black mask.

13. Pixie - hmmmmm A Pixie of course.

I reserve the right to update this list anytime I get the feeling to do so. If any of you have your own opinion about someone's halloween costume hit the add comment button and let us hear it.

Pixie's new Granddaughter


Sorry that I missed tuesday nights chat but, look what I was doing. Isn't she a cutie. I was busy watching my granddaughter being born. You know she would want to be born on Grammy's chat night. That's right I am now a Grammy. Okay remember until next week I am still only 37.

Her name is Memorie Rainie. We are going to call her Rainie. She is about 10 minutes old in this picture. She still had the gookie stuff on her. But it didn't matter cause I got to hold her and love her and kiss her all over. She was very alert also she was looking all over the place. And WOW check out all that hair. It was kinda blondish brown. It will be blonde though cause her mom and dad and grammy all has blonde hair. Okay now you should take time to admire what a cutie she is.

Feeling Chillin'

Here is a little secret for all of you. The little button in the upper right hand corner of your screen that says AOL Calendar is great for putting roomies birthdays in so that you don't forget. September seems like a good month to start using it. Okay put Sushi in Sept 17th and Frodok in Sept 21st and don't forget yours trully Pixie goes in Sept 27th. Incase you want to start on October also we have Wuz in Oct 13th and Chas in Oct 7th. Oh if I missed anyone then feel free to add your with the add comment button and I will make sure it is added to my calendar. Okay now that you have that done we can move on to the SHOUT-OUTS for the week.

1. CONGRATS to Frodok for being 6 days sober. 2. CONGRATS to Laura for running a marathon and planning on the next one. 3. Early CONGRATS to Sketch for getting a badge and gun in 3 months. 4. CONGRATS to Pez for being able to do amazing things while finger spelling the alphabet. ;)

ROOMIE OF THE WEEK is Chas just cause he is so darn sweet.

Feeling Hopeful

I received this today and I thought others might want to read it also.   I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.

I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.

I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.

We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.

I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.

I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I
wish they could adopt me.

I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.

I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.

We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.

I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.

I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.

I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.

I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.

I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.

I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn’t have to always deal with society hating me.

I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.

I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
