I reestablished a relationship with my teenage heart throb. One pal told me "he is ugly" and I did not understand. So after several years of bliss and happiness his true colors started to come to light and I saw the "ugly" person of whom I had been warned.

Embarrassing as it is to admit, I loved the psychpath so much because he was SO charming and SO attentive ... it nearly destroyed my life when I removed myself from the situation and I am still six ... almost seven years later putting the pieces of my broken life back together.

I have to admit 9/11 played a major role in the losses because I lost job then home as a result of work slow down ... but the depression I was in at the time only deepened and broadened.

I am happy to report that I as a person am healthy and mostly content. I can only hope that all the "stuff" I lost will have been worth it when I get on the other side of the black cloud (which is rapidly dissipating) ...

Here's a funny little poetic justice ... I made his life a living hell for several years. There was a time when we shared where each other wanted to "go" ... I desired hawaii ... he wanted to go to New Orleans, Las Vegas and Alaska. I went to New Orleans and Las Vegas and he will be heading to Hawaii later in the month? Life still gets the last laugh, God knows best.
