Denver, Colorado.  A Lovely City, set in Lovely country.  But, there is a dark, ugly Secret here.  The City's Government, a very Liberal Government, has decided to show what Liberals are made of; by showing it's Teeth.

In Denver, the mere posession of any dog that resembles a "Pit Bull" is a sure gaurantee that whether the dog is dangerous or not, it will be impounded and euthanized.  There need not be any record or evidence of agression, the dog can be as mild mannered as possible, if it LOOKS like a Pit bull, it will be siezed and usually killed.

The City Council decided that looks were sufficient to be a dog's death warrant.  After all, The City Council-Persons Looked like reasonable people, who would think before acting, and Certainly wouldn't act out of Reflex...and so therfore, any dog that Looked like a Pit Bull was fair game.  Since the implementation of this Draconian  Law, over one hundred dogs have died...simply because they "Looked" wrong.   One wonders what other "Wonders" of Law they have up their sleeve?  One also wonders what will happen when a Family on vacation happens to pass through Denver with a dog that "looks" wrong.

This is a superb example of what Liberal Politics are all about.   Stay tuned...and Ski somewhere Else.....
