QUESTION FOR THE POPE

This question from a High School Graduate of the year 1937, having read the New Testament several times, believing every word of the HOLY Bible.

1st Timothy CHAPTER 2 Verse 5 reads, 'FOR THERE IS ONE GOD,and ONE Mediator between GOD and MEN,the man CHRIST JESUS.

I am sure that YOU are aware of young boys being molested by Priests acting as Mediator between the Child and GOD.

Surely you know of the Lawsuits and Payoffs. To be fair, perhaps the News Reports were untrue of the molestations and Payoffs.

These words written here are not meant as a bad reflection on Sincere Loyal Catholic Citizens.

I am a Child of GOD, 87 years old and Regularly Pray Directly to the FATHER,SON and HOLY SPIRIT.

Is that not Permissable for any of WE whom have accepted and WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST as our LORD AND SAVIOR ?

Please give us your thoughts on this.

    A very good question Sam- I'd be curious to hear the answer.  I know there's unfortunately other churches besides the Catholic church where pedophilia is present - and it must really break the heart of our Lord to see this happening where He is "supposed" to be.  I'd hate to be in their shoes when that millstone is hung around their necks.  God bless you Sam- it's good to read your posts again.  Carolyn

    I know Catholics that pray regularly in thier own words to our Lord and God.  While I believe intercession of a priest is not necessary in any way, too sad that all parties to Chirstianity have had wolves hiding among the flock in sheep's clothing.  Be it priests, youth directors, pastors, music leaders.  Certainly Satan's handiwork and not our Father's.  -  Barbara

    Good to be back reading your posts Sam.Thankyou for your kind comments to myself whilst I have been away.I am not back as yet commenting regular.So many jobs to do in my new home.With the help of God I shall get there eventually.It's very hard work but I am a fighter.I am doing some joinery today LOL!!
