So one of my passions, some would say obsession, away from work is flight and flight simulation. I have flown Cessna 172s and I have owned almost every version of Microsoft Flight Simulator that was ever distributed. Lately some of the addons coming out for flight simulation are pretty amazing. One group of guys has really caught my attention with what you can do using photoreal images, GMAX (A great 3d rendering tool made by Discreet), and the open source scenery compilers distributed by Microsoft.

Since I was traveling this weekend, it gave me time to think about a good topic tomorrow to blog on, which are some of the great ways that you and your buddies can keep in contact while on the road, using AIM and what the future holds in this area for AIM and IM products in general.

I'm looking forward to reading this - I have not been very impressed with some of the cell phone AIM clients and other options to connect to AIM from the road. The newer version of AIM Express is nice, but that is more geared towards being on a public PC...
