After a long long wait it looks like
the next generation Windows OS took a big step in releasing a finished
product. After shutting down Longhorn development in 04 to
restart the project using the Windows Server 2003 SP1 code base, it
looks like Beta 1 is getting some positive feedback.

I look forward to seeing Beta 2 builds when I get out to the PDC conference in September. As I mentioned in my first post, I will be sharing thoughts and comments from the conference when it gets underway Sept 12th.
