I missed one question last night in the mailbag that I get quite frequently.
Q: When we released Triton mini buddy icon's started appearing in the buddy list for the first time, if you were an AIM user, AOL users saw the mini icons since AOL 7.0 (I think). I started receiving questions about lots of SNs having the water droplet icon next to their name even though the water droplet is not set as their buddy icon. Why is this?
A: Well first the icon that is in the Buddy List, the mini icon, is separate from the buddy icon you see in the IM window. The backend treats it as two separate artwork assets. It was decided a couple years ago by the powers-that-be that if no mini icon was set for users then we would use the water droplet, this should only impact AOL SNs, not AIM SNs.

How about just scaling the user's buddy icon down to buddy-list size? instead of generic droplets...
Oh, and will we get the feature to upload custom buddy icons like back in AIM 5.9? I always make my own, and not about to shell out $$$ for someone else's expression artwork. :-) -
Just had a plugin idea for Triton. Perhaps you can make a plugin that can change/set your away message on a schedule. For instance, I set my away message to "at work" then, by setting up the plugin, I set it up to change to "on my way home" at a given time, say 5pm.

I really hope you have a new Triton build coming very soon because I'm starting to lose hope in this program.

I just want to say that because of your openness to the community and especially for all the time you've spent on Neowin, I've spent the $10 and bought the annual aim expression subscription. I wanted to post it here so perhaps your bosses, or whoever, could see that your work is appreciated.
