West Coast --- Day 5

The final day of our west coast tour took us completely around the entire bay area from San Jose to Oakland to San Fran and back to San Jose.  We met with Orb Networks in Emeryville.  They do some really interesting stuff with multimedia and the PC.  We were given a demo of their software that included the ability to watch TV on a cell phone, and the ability to send and share photos from a home server.  The integration with Skype is quite interesting and hopefully as they integrate the AIM API into their product they get even better results.  We look forward to seeing what they produce.

Justin took a picture of their million dollar view from their conference room...

I will get the rest of the pictures from the week posted when I get home on Sunday night.  Tonight includes a trip to see the San Jose Stealth indoor lacrosse game.

according to this article http://news.com.com/IBM+instant+messaging+links+to+AIM%2C+Yahoo%2C+Google/2100-1012_3-6029950.html?tag=st_lh IBM's IM service will link up with aim and yahoo and google talk, so does that mean after this happens and the yahoo msn hookup happens, aim users will be able to talk to msn and yahoo users from the aim client?
