DC is definitely soggy this morning. Out by AOL's campus we had about 3 inches of rain yesterday.
Coinciding with the AIM Triton 1.3.30.1 release we released a new Location Plugin with some added goodness and bug fixes. One new feature that I like alot is our hit counter in AIM's Best Guesses. Hits refer to the number of times a location has been selected by unique users.

As always with the location plugin, it is opt in and we do not associate location with screen name after that screen name has logged off, in other words, location is tied to the lifetime of your AIM session. I also thought I would post another usage map showing the states with the most locations set. It shows that around the major metropolitan areas of the country is where we are seeing the greatest usage (green).

Now that school is back in session try it out and share with your buddies where you are going out this weekend. As always feedback is appreciated.
