Apparently I was tagged by the AIM Product team's blog, so I better return the favor. So before we get going on the holiday weekend festivities, starting with tomorrow's awesome celebration of Festivus...here are 5 things you may not know about me.
1) Before coming to AOL in September 1999, I worked in media relations with a Major League Baseball team and while in college I worked in the Syracuse University Athletic Department. Needless to say, but hanging out with millionaire athletes was a tough job, especially when you got paid zero. If you ever catch a replay of the 1998 Syracuse vs. Virginia Tech game on ESPN Classic (they play it all the time, because Syracuse won the game on the last play of the game), you will see me standing on the sidelines right after the 1st touchdown Syracuse scores.
2) I am a native Washingtonian...I have lived here my whole life, with the exception of college. There are not that many natives around here, so it is a little clique-y.
3) I love taking photos, but I am betting if you read the blog enough you probably already know that. I think some of the geo-tagging stuff Flickr added this year was really cool. In fact, I was downtown in DC today finishing off some holiday shopping and caught a nice picture of the Washington Marina building.
4) I am majorly addicted to caffeine, and therefore, never sleep. You can find me online almost 24x7x365...yes I have problems.
5) On Tuesday I am getting Verizon's FIOS at my house. Having 5 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up should make for a great streaming experience, whether it be my Slingbox or watching videos online.
So that's it...Now we need another 5 people to continue the tag game. Let'sget these guys on board, College Justin's blog, juberjabber, ShawnsBlog, UltraNormal Blog, and GusWhat?
