Last month when I was at MashupCamp, I was intrigued by a mashup called The Hype Machine, which is an aggregator of music news, videos, audio clips, and blog posts. Today I was introduced to iSportif, which is an aggregator of sports news and videos for your favorite teams. This is a pretty slick way of condensing news on teams you follow, basically like your newspaper's sports section on speed. Over time as more sports clips are added into each team's queue, it will be a great historical record of what your team did and when. Check it out.
Later this week I am going to release the next version of the Ambient Messaging plugin I released. Thanks for the feedback. In the next version I will include some options that give you control of the window, as well as mashing it up with Open AIM's location services. So if you or your buddies have a location set, I will load pictures from those locations, into the picture bar.
There is a lot of fun news this week, and I am hoping for a bunch of posts. I will be getting back to my Tech Trends posts, next up will be "Why be Open and when?." I am hoping to get AIM MusicLink out the door, finally...sorry for all the delays. If you are in the mid-Atlantic or New England stay safe tomorrow, as the snow, sleet, and freezing rain, should be out of control.
