Just a few quick notes from today....
There have been some reports I have been getting from the field with the latest AIM 6.1 beta that scrolling in the buddy list is not working right when hovering over the screen name at the bottom of the buddy list. We have recorded this issue and our investigating it.
Also, many people have been reporting that certain AIM Gadgets are not working. Well it turns out that we have been hitting daily limits and in some cases (MyPlaylist and EzLogger) we have hit our monthly limits. For those keeping score at home that means we have 200,000 session a day or 2 million a month, since that is the limit that we have in place for deployment keys. Fear not, AIM Gadgets in the field now have unlimited keys, and we have also separated out the Gadgets as separate plugin downloads.
Last note, is that I noticed Flickr a few weeks ago launched a new way to view pictures based on the most popular cameras used on Flickr to take pictures. This is a very interesting data abstraction, I am in the market for a new point and shoot digital camera, and I have to admit it has been interesting to see who is using what camera and the quality of pictures they are taking. Web 2.0 is great. ;-)
