Updated AIM MusicLink

I mentioned last night that when I got back to the East Coast that I would update AIM MusicLink.  So now that I have my wash going and I managed to eat something, I can share with you the latest AIM MusicLink.

Version 2.0.0.1 contains support for the following media players, iTunes, WinAmp, Yahoo Jukebox, Windows MediaPlayer, Real Player, and now Songbird version 0.2.x.  In addition, I have removed the code that sets your current song in your profile.  Why? Well because in AIM 6 Beta 2 we now have the status message inline in the buddy list, so we no longer have to pimp our tunes thru a clumsy UI or by corrupting your profile.  So in this release all you will see is a preference window that can be accessed in the Actions menu.  This means the plugin can now be used by ALL Open AIM clients, not just AIM 6.x.  If you use AIM Pro, AIM Lite, all versions of AIM 6, etc, this plugin will work for you.

         Simple MusicLink UI

As always  I appreciate the feedback, and again apologize for not getting the build out sooner.  You can download the latest build here.

OK, I have seen the light...thanks for the feedback guys.  I will be posting a fixed version of music link that handles profiles and hyperlinks in profiles.  I figured out a way to hack it so currently playing music can be inserted in profiles again.  Stay tuned...I am close to getting this posted.

Yeah man you should really let the preference of people up to the PEOPLE, you probably shouldn't going around expecting that though you may think it's preferable for your personal use, that the rest of the users may want to use it their traditional way or do it a different way :) Open-Mindedness is the key to producing useful things.
