Hiatus

on taking a break and other excuses


Two surgeries, the residual calamity of a break-in with 5-600 files strewn from cabinets and a compliance inspection certainly don't leave much time or desire for blogging.
 
You set priorities and do what you have to do. Even if it means foregoing regularly vacuumed carpets or dinner with friends -- slowing down only for your best friend's 12th birthday .....  Happy belated-birthday, Dawg.  I promised her we'd take longer walks and allow her to doze on the deck, to roll in and sniff the grass at her leisure for at least 30 minutes a day.  She deserves it. 
 
And so do I.

    Awwwww...Have really missed you! Hope the surgeries were successful and you're all repaired! As for the break-in...you'll never get totally over that, I think. It changes your perception of safety and privacy. All you can do is pick things up, clean them up, and move on. Glad to see you back, though. Enjoy your daily roll in the grass. :)
