Mr. Obama is a shoe-in. He's got Oprah. The most powerful woman in America says she did a happy dance when he clinched it. I don't want to see her happy dance. Ellen Degeneres does quite enough dancing for me, thank you. Imagine those two happy dancing together. Dr. Phil would proably join them. Whatever it takes to get ratings. That might make me throw a heavy object at the TV. Oprah plugs a book, it sells a million. Now she's endorsed green tea. Where can I buy some green tea stock?

I suppose it's not fair that society lets us males remain little boys forever, with our toys and games and juvenile behavior while females are expected to grow up and become mature, responsible adults. I'm glad I'm an old boy.

I gotta start a blogroll or whatever AOL calls the list of blogs you read all the time. Near the top will be this one. Entry 78, about wanting your kids to be bilingual, is hilarious. One comment said "I just pooped my pants." Well I peed mine. It's that funny.

One of my other blogs has some posts about the too much discussed rear ends of Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Love Hewitt. I have a very gay friend who says he can't keep his eyes off the caboose of Nana Visitor, one of the Star Trek babes. I suppose he looks upon it as a work of art. At my age, that's about the best I can do, too.

Screaming Women

That awful game show, Wheel of Fortune, features screeching women. Last week there was one whose sound was more of a yelp than a scream every time she got a letter right. What a dreadful sound to come from the lips of a pretty woman. It kills anything about her that might be appealing. Unless she's in the jungle trying to attract a mate. Maybe it works there.
