I Hate Those Dirty Birds

This is supposed to be an easy game Monday night in Atlanta.  The Falcons are still reeling from Michael Vick's off season misdeeds.  They are in disarray.  They seemingly can't get out of their own way.

That scares the hell out of me.

Recent history has taught us that t Giants don't do well against backup quarterbacks from Atlanta.  Doug Johnson and Kurt Kittner are two unforgettable forgettable names that come to mind.  So don't think that this game will be easy.

The Giants should win.  Even with their recent trouble with Falcon backups, this should be a solid win.  Yo have a rookie head coach who doesn't know who is starter is.  His choice is between two guys who were castoffs from teams that were exactly starting Johnny Unitas.

So given that there will be something that doesn't go right for the Giants, a bad turnover, an injury a slow start for Eli again; they should still win by double digits.

The Falcon O-Line is banged up and the unit as a whole is so inept that it keeps the Falcon defense on the field too much.  Even with the talent that that squad has, there's a hopelessness to the team as a whole  that wears them out.  I've seen it with my own team in the past.

I don't think the stats will be great, but the Giants should win 27-14.  The game will probably bore most of America.  I don't care, let's just beat the backup.
