Whats Inside ?????

You have heard me do stories many times on how people start beautiful on the inside first.............

Society has put way too much attention to the outside physical look of a man or woman. Judging them solely on their physical appearance.

This I feel is wrong................

Because as it has been said, it is in the inside that counts..............

There are alot of people who are what society deems as beautiful on the outside....

But many times these men and women are NOT very pretty on the inside....

They are mean, nasty, judgemental, etc................

When a person is nice, caring, loving, compansionate, then they are BEAUTIFUL on the inside..........

And when you have that beauty going on inside of you...............

It naturally finds a way to make it to the outside...............

People need to stop judging those on their outside only.........

For it is in the inside, that you find the true beauty of a humanbeing.....

It is in the inside that you find out what their self worth is...........

And when you find that, when you connect with that.........................

Then you have found the treasure...................

Have you ever heard the saying about a couple that may seemed mismatched??

What do they say ??

"What does she see in him"..........???

"What does he see in her............???

Thats exacally it.....................

They see  IN ..................

Inside of a person........................

And thats where they have found the true measure of a person.............

The true gold within oneself.....................

The secret treasure that we all have inside.....................

Remember.....................

Inside of a humanbeing is the most important part of them.

Connect with a persons soul...............

Connect with them inside.........................

Find their true self worth................

Inside of most humanbeings that seem shy, seem intimidated...............

iS A beautiful humanbeing just waiting to come out.............

WOW.................

WHAT A WEEKEND.......................

I HAD A FULL HOUSE............................................

From Friday at 5pm when I got home, till Sunday night at 8pm..................

There were people coming and going, coming and going......................

The house was not quiet untill Sunday night at 8pm........

My Brother in law Ray and my sister Vickie stopped by...............

My Brother in law and his three boys were with us most of the weekend.....

Saturday there was us five, my BIL and his three boys,  Akeem, a family freind, Nick my son had Riley, the guitar player from his band spent saturday and saturday night with us. They jammed all weekend. My daughter Taylor had her freind Macy spend the night. And my nephews spent saturday night with us...

It was kids, kids, and more kids...................................

The gatoraide, fruit snacks, popcorn was flying................................

Sponge Bob Square Pants on tv about 24/7.......................

We swept the kitchen floor about 100 times............................

Saturday night, Nick my son and his freind went to see Poison/Sebeashin Bach at our local Metro Centre.

I dropped them off and picked them up...............

Sunday morning Taylor made pancakes for everyone......................

It was a wild, wacky, crazy weekend........................

But isnt that what life is all about ???????????

Enjoying the days and nights with Family and Freinds...............

WHERE'S HADONFIELD BEEN  ???????

 

My freinds I apologize for being absent this whole week............

Let me explain........................

For those of you who know me, you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE coffee......

When Starbucks announced the closing of some of their stores.....

It sent me into a deep deep deep depression...............

And I have been in intense emotional therapy..........................

Now...  you beleive that right ????

I didnt think so................

OK OK OK...........

Here is a list of things that might possibly have happened to me this week.....

- Got my hands caught in a coffee grinder and have not been able to type

- Realized I was the adopted and my real father was Marilyn Manson

- Went on tour with the Dave Mathews Band

- Hooker Emporium was having a Marathon sale...............

- President Busch invited me to Camp David for the week...........

- I was abducted by alliens who took me to their planet JAVA

- I was auditioning for "So you think you can dance"......

- I was guesting with Snoop Dog on his new cd

- The Steelers called and wanted me to give Big Ben some passing tips

- Lucky Charms called and wanted me to audition for the Leprechon role

- I was recovering from eating Pennys meatloaf that Bosox sent me in the mail

- My laptop was stolen by terrorists wanting to foil the government

- Brett Micheals wanted me to handle some of the women on Rock of Love

- I'm old and tired and worked too much this week...........

Now.............

Which one of those do you think it was ???

Dont ya just love multiple choice???

Sorry I was gone so much....

I will do better this week..............

I missed you all very much...

Saturday Six - Episode 221

     1. You order a plate of wings: what’s your first choice: mild, hot, inferno or teriyaki?

     Mild.............    I cannot handle the spicey stuff anymore...

     2. Which makes the best base for barbeque sauce: mustard, vinegar or ketchup?

     Ketchup......    Most Definately......

     3. If you could learn the eleven herbs and spices used in Kentucky Fried Chicken, how likely would you be to attempt to make it yourself? Why?

     I'd do it, but I wouldn't use the same oil they do now. Since they quit using oil with trans fat, it tastes greasy.   Agree 100%

KFC is not as good as the old days.....

     4. Take the quiz: Which condiment are you?

 

          Nothing Comes Up....    I must be Nothing..............

          Which makes sense, since they tell me I have no taste............

          He He He He

 

    5. Of the condiments currently in your refrigerator, which would you say you have used the least in the last year?

      Tartar or shrimp sauce. Not big on fish.   Totally Agree....

     6. After months of unsuccessful attempts, you finally get the recipe for a food you enjoy. When making it for the first time yourself, you discover an individual ingredient that you hate in everything else. Would you still make the dish with that ingredient, or would you try it without?

     Folow the recipe...  My cooking experiemnts usually dont turn out too good.

Summer Fun.........................

Remember the lazy, crazy, hazy Days from Summer................

How many hot afternoons spent running through the Sprinkler ??

No one ever heard of a Water Park then..............

Didnt need them..............

All you needed was a hot summer day, a water sprinkler, and swim trunks or a pair of shorts............

Remember running through the sprinkler???

Enjoying the coolness of the cold water upon your skin..............

Standing over the sprinkler and letting the stream bounce of your trunks??

Hearing the sound................

Laughing hysterically........................

And if you didnt have a lawn sprinkler......................

You could always crack open a Fire Hydrant and run about in the street....

Feeling Thoughtful

Last night about Midnight it started to rain...........................   It rained for 5 hours.............   The new egress window wells begin to fill......   I started the pumps...................   I used Buckets to help bail out the window wells from inside after having taken the windows out.... At points, the water levels reached the window ledges and spilled into the basement For 5 hours thats all I did was drag bucket upon bucket of water from the window wells to the laundry tub ..... I couldnt even stop for a smoke or a drink of coffee hardly....... Finally about 5am the rain stopped............. And I finished draining the window wells.................. I was up ALL NIGHT !!!!!!!!!! Didnt get to bed till 6am.................... Guess What ??? I HATE RAIN..................

I dedicate this to Jenny, a very good freind of mine.

 

Remember the good old days of Summer Fun as a child ???

Remember the afternoons of backyard softball, when we used anything available for bases. Extra gloves, cardboard, peices of wood, etc. When all there was were wooden baseball bats ??  Families playing together. Remember the good old days of summer as a child, when there was NO cable tv, only 3 network channells. And families spent more time together................

Lazy days of the hot summer were spent with neighborhood freinds playing in alleys, playing in each others backyards. Games like stick ball, hide and go seek, leap frong, tag your it, and Statues.............

What about Frozen Tag ???????    Flashlight Tag ????????

And what about Kick the Can.....................

Games that didnt cost anything to play. Games where we used our imaginations. Games where everybody could play..........

Long Summer days of kool aid, potatoe chips, and popsicles...............

Remember making your own Freezer Pops ???

And Rootbeer Floats....................   Umm Umm Umm.............

It was a differnt time back then. Life was so full of hope as a child. So full of excitement over the little things. And so full of promise.........

It was a special time, even though we didnt realize it then...........

Wouldnt it be nice to go back, for just one day ?

And of course we didnt need watches then....................

We knew when the day was done................

When the street lights came on....................................

It was time to say goodnight......................

But it was ok....

Cause we knew we would play yet another day.......................

Today was the finali of the Totally Arts Camp that my son Zac attended for the last 2 weeks.

The last day ended with a show....................

The differnt groups of kids performed in the auditorium for 2 hours...

There was:

Choral Singing

One Act Plays

Dancing:  Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop

Rap Dj's

Stories Read

It was a fantastic show...................

All the Kids did Great...........................

And at the end of the show, we were able to preview all the kids art projects and take them home.

Drawings

Paper Mache Masks

Pottery

Even Errogomy

It was just incredible and the talent of these kids was amazing..........

My Hats off to the wonderful counselors/teachers/helpers that volunteered their time. They only had 2 weeks with these kids and they did a great job.

We ordered the DVD, so when we get it, I will figure out a way to download Zacs performances onto my journal.

Zac's main performance was Drama, one of the one act plays....

Which was directed by the Drama Teacher, Holland Zander............

The daughter of Robin Zander,  the lead singer of

Rockford Own  Cheap Trick.....................

Congradulations to all the kids and the great job they did...............
