In any language, 'Deal or No Deal' has been a successful game show
worldwide.
With 26 different versions of the game, it comes as no surprise that the show
is doing as well as it is in the United States.
But seriously...
You're telling me the entire game involves picking briefcases?
That's not a real game show.
Back in my day (makes me sound "wise") in the late '80s and early
'90s, instead of all the court shows you find on network television currently,
you had game shows.
And boy, did you ever.
'25,000 Pyramid.' 'Name That Tune.' 'Let's Make A Deal.' 'Card Sharks.'
And my favorite, 'Press Your Luck.'
At least on 'Press Your Luck' when you weren't yelling for "No
Whammy," you were answering possibly the easiest questions in game show
history. But still, questions none the less.
How come nobody has brought back 'Name That Tune' using modern songs?
Try naming 'Deja Vu' in two notes. It's harder than you think.
However, the all time classic, hands down, is 'The Price is Right.'
They say "Black Don't Crack." No - "Bob Don't Crack."
Bob Barker will be 83 in December and he looks the same as he did 20
years ago.
Curious as to what were some of your favorite TV game shows from back in the day...

Deal or no deal is cool, but Like Marcus, I like the old school game shows. Remember 'Tic Tac Dough' , 'The Joker's Wild' or 'Card Sharks'? Those are classics along with "The Price is Right', "Press your luck", and "Match Game". Its sad that regular TV dont have game shows on often anymore....

deal or no deal is a great game, its just like most the other tv games its a gamble
you take a chance, you win or you lose.
