Snitches Get Stitches, Marisa

‘Project Runway’ fans, if you need a new show to take your mind off Michael and Jeffrey, ‘Top Chef’ might be for you.

From the same company that produces ‘Project Runway,’ ‘Top Chef Season 2’ debuted last week following the season finale of ‘Runway.’

All the drama of your average reality show except they play with knifes instead of a sewing needle.

Fifteen chefs compete for $100,000 and a spread in Food & Wine magazine by competing in a series of challenges and eliminations. Two of which I’m rooting for in Cliff and Mia (pictured to the left).

I tell ya – they have found a way to make a reality competition show for everything these days.

The premises behind all these shows are all the same; stick some strangers in a house and tease them with $100,000 cash money by having them compete in various competitions. And there you have it … your very own reality show.

Tonight’s episode featured the chefs splitting up into two teams and cooking Korean and Vietnamese cuisines.

Clearly someone didn’t tell Marisa Churchill that nobody likes a snitch.

The two teams were allotted a certain amount of money to spend on food and her team left the grocery store with an extra carton of Litchis.

Maybe there are a few honest people left in the world but, Marisa, while the group was in the middle of cooking, told the judge that her teammate Otto was boasting about getting a free carton of Litchis.

Snitches get stitches, Marisa. Sometimes ditches. In this case, a loss for your team.

Even if it wasn’t the “honest” thing to do, nobody likes a snitch. Otto was man enough to realize he did wrong and removed himself from the competition.

As for Marisa, sign up for the Lil’ Kim School of Silence. You can thank me later.

Marisa was trying to be the "good ethical Angel' and looked like a fool. If she was so concerne about Otto not paying then she should have gotten out of the car returned the item before they got to the kitchen.

And for the person who left the comment about the Marcus... I mean really this is a Blog... get over it, everything doesn't have to be correct, people make mistakes... are you related to Marisa by any chance?

marissa should be happy that otto left. hell she should be kissing his feet 'cause it was her ass on the line if he didn't decide to remove himself from the competition.you could easily forget to pay for something, but it takes a real screw up to mess up gelatin.i'm willing to bet that from now on, marissa will be the outcast when it comes to team competions.

Otto boasted about getting the fruit without paying for it.  Not paying for it was wrong, wrong, wrong -- and he knew it.  This blogger's attitude is representative of a frightenly large number of people in America:  it's okay to lie, cheat and steal, as long as you win.  No wonder a recent poll revealed that 60% of teenagers have stolen something, even from friends.  It's all about ethics,  personal morality and responsibility.  Eventually the cheater/liar will be put to the test in real life and will be revealed as the loser he really is.

Maris got exactly what she deserved...if she had a problem with it she shouldve been woman enough and confronted Otto before they returned to their location to begin cooking.  As far as the comment aobut the editor being professional..i think he did better than some others would've done. The truth is the truth.
