Wait a Second, That's not Sanaa!
So my boss was raving about how good ‘Nip/Tuck’ on FX is, and for once, I actually took his advice and watched the show.
And I knew all about Sanaa Lathan joining the cast this season and was all set to blog about her character Michelle Landau.
So I’m watching...
And watching…
And watching…
And I do get a prominent black female actress on my television.
Except it was Mo’Nique!!!
Nooooooooooo.
What a horrible trick to play on me like that ‘Nip/Tuck.’
You can’t be playing with my emotions all willy-nilly like that.
I won’t lie – I can’t stand Mo’Nique. If you made a list of people in Hollywood that irk me the most – she would be near the top of the list.
But even she couldn’t ruin last night’s episode of ‘Nip/Tuck,’ and now I’m officially hooked to the show (Thanks, Nick).
Not just because they had a midget on the show (Peter Dinklage) and I have a thing for midgets but you can cut all the sexual tension on that show with a knife.
Even the midget was hooking up with Julia, the wife of Sean McNamara.
Next time though, a warning about the actual procedures on the show. I’m glad I wasn’t eating at the time because that was more blood and guts that I expected.
I thought shows like ‘House’ and ‘ER’ were graphic in terms of medical procedures but ‘Nip/Tuck,’ takes the cake.
Alas, the preview for next week includes Sanaa Lathan so I will be watching.

THIS IS MY 3RD SEASON WATCHING NIP/TUCK AND ITS BY FAR ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS...I TINK THAT THE SPLASH OF COLOR, i.e. SANAA LATHAN IS A GREAT ADD ON AS ONE OF THE REGULARS TO THE SHOW...THANKS TO THE PRODUCERS AND THE WRITERS OR WHO EVER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR HER COMING TO THE SHOW...SHE HAS BEEN GREAT...

I think it's great that Sanaa has been able to come on this type of show and still hold her integrity. She has said a couple of nasty things, but she has not been naked once, nor have her sex scenes been raunchy. She did some serious negotiating in her contract!

I hate mo' nique as well, but i love the show, i cant stand her all she ever talks about is fat chicks get a new topic. like maybe the war I Iraq or aids in Africa not fat people who cares you notice how she had to find a way to add that to the show.
