we have finnally made it back home. We had a wonderful time. I t was great to get out of town for awhile we hadn't down that in a long time.Only bad thing was that we forgot our cmera and left it sitting on the coffee table. So we didn't get to get any pictures. But it was so relaxing . We have no regets on geting the new dually as it only cost us round trip fuel wise was about 950.00 dollars which is what we exspected.But it could have cost alot more if we had only one fuel tank on it.

Morning well we are in Merced california right now . And we will mostly likely be headed back home in a couple of days or might be 2 weeks from now not sure yet, as I am just the driver mom's the boss so we will leave for home when she decides she's ready to go.8-)

Good morning ! we are well on our way at present we are in Laffayette,Colorado visiting my aunt and Uncle. from here we will be going to california to visit a Friend of mine in which our friendship has sendured for the last 21 yrs so far!! We are really enjoying ourselves especially mom.Mom has not had one complaint as far as being unconfortable while riding in our New Dodge Dually!! Well Thank God it has 4x4 cause right now in colorado we need it due to the snow and ice.

Automobile & Mom's Birthday

Well today we must decide on the dually or the van. I think mom is wantg to get the van we find out @ 3 p.m. cst today. Today is also mom's 63rd Birthday! Sam's Club gave her a half a sheet birthday cake with candles! one candle is a 6 and the other is a 3. Stay tuned! between 5 and 6 pm I will unvail the decision of what vechicle we have chosen!!

Well this weekend has be rather interesting as we have had company in from out of town. We are test driving 2 diffrent automobiles over the weekend to see which one we want to get. The Choices are a Chevy Crew Cab Dually or a Town&Country Van both automobiles are all power. Heck the van even has 3 elertric doors! The van is an 07 and the dually is an 08. SHe I will let ya'll new what we get in my next entry!! PSST! .....I hoping on the dually but I am not sure I think mom is lesning more towards the van.

Well today has been very eventful for my mother and I. She wanted to go car shopping so we went to 3 carlots so she could look at the new automobiles. Came home fixed dinner and now everyone is getting ready for bed. But some of us won't be going to bed right as I have to monitor my mother's breathing to make sure she doesn't stop breathing during the night while she is sleeping.Well other than that all in all its been a great day!!

DFW Area

Good Morning! I just woke up and so far everyone in the house is having a good day. Monday marks my mother's 63rd birthday and she told me this morning that she is feeling fine.She is doing alot better since her bllod sugar has come down out of the 400's. It been around 198 or so. In the mornings sometimes its like 70 or 80 but that is because she has quit eating so late at night. We are thinking about moving to the DFW area next year. Well we have decided NOT to move to the DFW area as our family members that live there have decided they are going to be moving once my uncle retires as it is getting to where they hate it there as the traffic and stuff is getting really bad.
