Feeling Happy
Hearing Ralph Stanley
Tour of Public Access TV Station
Lost again--we spent 45 minutes driving around Beechmont....The Tour of the Public Access TV station
feeling happy
listening to Ralph Stanley
The girls had a lot of fun touring the public access cable station. They danced on the stage and played while other girls learned what it was like to use the big camera. This will conclude a requirement they needed for their photography badge. This homeschool Girl Scout troop is awesome. My children are getting to explore so many different subjects, and with the particular benefit of it being the same group of friends each time. One of my only sadnesses in homeschooling recently is that since it has become so huge and popular it is possible to go to a homeschool event and never see the same family twice all year! That was my one disappointment when I hosted the Homeschooler's Horse and Pony Club. We went to a mounted police demonstration in Sharon Woods, toured Long branch Farm and learned about draft horses, visited the racetrack backfield, met miniature horses, and went to a mule and donkey show. The highlight of the mule and donkey show in Clermont County was that they had our Homeschooler's Club present the trophy and ribbons. :-) Unfortunately, however, there was never the same family twice--although the events were very well attended. I want the girls to have the benefit of belonging to a small group.
