Hearing Everybody Let's Zydeco!

Laura came over Sunday night to pick little Emily up.  We had a great time telling stories back and forth. She thinks our family would make a good reality TV show, however, people would think I was putting on an act--and not realize I really AM that goofy and absent minded.  Laura said my children are much more beautiful than the Osbournes. :-) We told many of our Ridiman family stories--The Flood Rat in the Toilet Incident, The Raccoon/Root Canal Ordeal, The Scissors in the Foot Escapade..along with explaining the Fan in the Bathroom Torture Perfected by David, and the Dutch Oven. We described how creative Mandy was as a child in getting into trouble (the Waterbed Piercing Incident and the Rock Drawing on the New Car Event.) During the Birthday party Rachael explained the Great Heel of Bread story.  We discussed why I need a Roomba (Laura and David both vigorously bat the bed clean before getting in...Laura said I could Roomba it from now on.)  I believe as time goes on I will have to find time to include this in this family journal, since I want this to be a permanent record for my children. :-)
