Feeling Ecstatic
Hearing "The Long Black Veil"
Warm weather!
Now that we are having very warm weather (in February!) the neighborhood is once again seething with children. Devin Bryant rode her bike over, inspiring Mandy to get their bikes down off the basement bike rack. Tabby bitched and moaned about wearing helmets, "NONE OF THE OTHER KIDS HAVE TO, MOM" and I nobly refrained from commenting on the parenting styles of other parents. Head injuries are a particular concern for me. Dave fell off his bike when he was a kid and broke his two front teeth. I have head injuries. When we lived in Fort Thomas a kid on Ohio Avenue fell off his bike, hit a curb with his head, and is now mentally retarded from a severe head injury.
Randy showed up, asking to tour our house since he now a Ghost Hunter and he has heard our house is haunted. (I suppose he has given up on being a werewolf. That kid reads way too many Goosebumps. LOL His family decided to homeschool him this year. I remember when they first moved in and came over to ask us about homeschooling. They have a beautiful harlequin Great Dane. That's how we met them. We asked his stepmom if she would let us take a picture of the girls with their Great Dane puppy. We collect pictures of the girls with different breeds of dogs.)
Mandy took DooDoo out for a walk in the warm sun. She let him get down to run around and apparently Momma Green Eyes almost caught him. Randy insisted that DooDoo's claws are deadly. Deadly? A pigeon? Pigeons are just about the most laid back birds you can imagine!
