Feeling Frustrated
Let's just give Mono to the Whole State
I just went downstairs and for the umpteenth times today chased out Kenny, Lauren, and a few little kids. I keep trying to tell them Mandy is SICK. She is CONTAGIOUS. Her germs are all over the house..on doorknobs, on dishes, on food...please stay outside. As it is in the eighties outside it is not too cold for them ...I tell them her spleen is very enlarged. She is SICK. She is taking steroids and Vicadin to get by.
Do they care? No.
Why should I bother? Let them get sick and spend all summer sick with mono..grrrrr.
Go ahead. Double dip and drink after each other. Share combs and brushes and lice....arrgghhh
Actually, I do care. That is why I am so earnestly chasing them out. Not that I can really protect them, since Perry gave it to Mandy and he is still going to school, sharing his germs with everyone. Sigh. Maybe I should call the Health department. Maybe I need a huge QUARENTINE sign outside. They will come in anyway, since this house has always been open to all comers.
I am still feeling grumpy. Somewhere the Sweet Saint Kathryn of Newport is cowering inside of me, wondering where this grouchy woman came from.
