Feeling Quiet
Hearing the whirring of all the fans

Well, today definitely was a better day than yesterday. Everyone continued to be kind to me--Tabitha said she was mad at me yesterday, but today she was well behaved. For her. We continued to make mild progress on the house, and the girls spent about two hours tonight giggling and learning math facts together. Tabitha relishes the role of "teacher" and she taught Mandy some concepts in a way that would never have occurred to me. She is a combination animal trainer/dominatrix, rewarding right answers with treats and wrong answers or drifting attention with stern lectures and whacks. ROFL It was hilarious.
