The Frisch Marionette Company has performed several free shows at the public libraries of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. My children and I have been fans for 8 years. Kevin Frisch hand carves all the marionettes
from wood, his brother composes the musical scores, and his wife sews the costumes for the marionettes. Kevin has excellent rapport with children, using humor, demonstrations of the inner-workings of marionettes, and explanations about how they are manipulated to engage children (and all this occurs BEFORE the actual performance). We have
been given an opportunity to see an all new performance entitled The Illusion of Life featuring Dr. Coppelius Wysteria and Peek a Boo.Dr. Coppelius is similar to Gepetto. He runs a shop where things come to
life. There are ghosts, a witch, illusions, magic, pantomime, and humor. This performance will only include homeschoolers who respond to THIS offer. Please RSVP by September 20 as I need to place a deposit. RSVP's
will be received by mail only for the total ticket price. Please make your check payable to Shelly Keating and send it to 4579 Beechknoll Lane, Hamilton, Ohio, 45011 We must have a minimum of 20 people for our plans to proceed.
The girls and I went to see the current show last week...I'm sure this one will be great, too. We see a lot of live performance in the course of our homeschooling.
