Feeling Quiet

Flu


We've been down sick with a very nasty flu bug....I think it was a real learning experience for my husband, as I was also vomiting and so sick that he had to take care of four sick people. The laundry alone astounded him.  He is not very good with vomit, so he would sit in another room while the girls were puking. They are used to me being with them with water and washclothes...it was a long two days...Shelby subsisted on breast milk alone. I am glad that I am still nursing her whenever something like this happens as I knew she was well hydrated and warm and safe in my arms even though I was too sick to stand up.

It is hard to be diabetic and that sick. My blood sugar got really messed up.

On the bright side, I have lost seven pounds.

    that bug this year!  I've had enough sickness already!!
