Feeling Happy

Meet Miss Lily the Skunk and Mrs. Violet Pineapple the Gerbil

Here are some more pictures of our family.  Miss Lily the skunk is the newest addition to the inside family.  Our friend Barb called during the Flu Crisis to tell us her pond pump was broken, so we have seven more bright gold goldfish in our pond now. One is a fantail, very pretty and slow moving. I worry that it might be better off inside the house.

Miss Lily is a very nice little creature. She has almost no odor...unless you bury your face in her luscious hair, and then it is a clean animal smell, not at all stinky.  I like having her in our house. She is a droll, wise little spirit.

By the way, I have redesigned my journal...or at least I have started the PROCESS of redesigning it. What do you think? Does this work?

Cute little critter...I have never seen skunks in pet stores...but they sound like fun pets to own.

You are right about the size. Pepe must have been a baby! At one point, we had Pepe and Ms. Pepe out there. They were so cute - and NOT descented, but I didn't bring them inside.   xoxo

Lily is litter trained, but she has had a few accidents since she moved in.  I think it will subside as she gets used to her new homes. She is descented. The greyhounds are terrified of her. They leave her alone.  Her coat is coarse and soft, but not silky like a cats.
