Aww....shucks....:-) I absolutely adore blogging as a way to document our homeschooling! I haven't even opened my lesson planner this year (not that I planned lessons, but I recorded outings in there). I love being able to look back on the minutae of our lives...and now that I have learned to add pictures, I have lots of visual documentation as well. Anyone who is interested can look and see two recent Heart to Heart activities: The Creek Critters Class and the Just About Fish Tour. Or check out the Pizza tour we went on this week with Laura Riesenberg's Girl Scout group, or the dinner we had with my oldest daughter's birth family. We have pictures of our new pet skunk in there as well. :-) Be sure to check on view older entries, since I add several entries a day. I read about sixty other journal/blogs, and they have enriched my life beyond measure--as well as broadening my children's circle of experience....we have another homeschooling families who are Torah observant, a gay opera/movie actor, a cop in Arizona, a writing professor, a woman who is living her dream of buying and living on a boat in Boston.....so many different people who share their lives with us. I believe that by reading our blog, many people have a much different idea about what homeschooling is. Anyone who is interested can follow along in our exploration of the Ice Age.....or visit whatever wildlife we are rehabbing....or listen to my rants about politics (or skip over those, perhaps :-)......
