What disgusts you?  BBC  Psychology quiz

Click here: BBC - Science & Nature - Human Body and Mind - Mind - Disgust

Okay, I know I have a much higher tolerance for disgusting things than most people...I really, really do.  It's not just a mom thing, or a farm girl thing, or a natural healer thing, or the fact that I like creepy crawlies thing....but.....this was most illuminating.  Gotta hand it to the BBC. It was a real eye opener for me.  Be sure to read WHY researchers think we find some things disgusting.

Now, Mandy was even more hygiene tolerant than me---for example, the greasy haired, pimply faced guy she said looks like a lot of her guy friends....ROFLMO  In fact, I was alarmed at the things she DIDN'T find disgusting, or would not be reluctant to touch!

Tabitha, the Queen of the PICKERS, wanted to PICK the nasty stuff, like on the teeth and the rotten wounds. Gross, but very Tabitha. Remember, this is the kid who wants to be a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon.  Give her a boil or a festering wound, and she is fascinated.

Our homeschool project for the next week or so is examining human internal parasites  so...be prepared.

love, Kas

I'm with Mandy.  None of the pictures of hte guy bothered me.  I have a higher threshold for disgust than most.
