Feeling Happy
dancing naked in the cherry blossoms
It is no secret that I am raising a generation of nudists. My daughters seldom wear clothes at home if their father is at work---and Shelby only wears clothes if we are going somewhere. She is naked ninety percent of the time. Since she is almost three, I dress her when we go out in the front yard, but let her run around a la natural when we are in the back yard behind our hardwood privacy fence.
Shelby is enthralled with the cherry blossoms this year, and loves to stand under the tree and gently shake the branches. The pink blossoms fall on her soft skin and she giggles with delight. Then she lays down and rolls in the cherry petals. It looks like a pink snowfall under the weeping cherry.
Yesterday she was rolling in the cherry blossoms with the skunk and two wild squirrels sitting with her. (All three have learned that not only are small humans safe, they are a source of peanuts.) She sat up, wild-eyed in her shapeshifting, and I know I saw Eden. God must delight when we humans adore Her creation, sharing it with our Four Legged Brethren in such innocence.

Aww! I'd ask to see pictures if I weren't afraid of all the freaks on the internet! I have a good imagination tho...what a beautiful mental picture I have. :-)

That sounds beautiful. My kids are nudies too. When I pull a blanket out of the dryer, Alison and I always like to snuggle in it, but she always pulls her clothes off first.
I'm curious about the squirrels though. Can you really tame squirrels? That would be so neat! We have a lot of feeders in the neighborhood, so I'm thinking maybe it wouldn't work here because they have plenty of access to food sources elsewhere.
