Pet Show results. :-)

Last week the Library had a pet show.  Tabitha and Mandy took the Greyhounds, the mouse Alamo, a rat, and our "beautiful Aires the Garter snake", says Tabitha.  Deliah won a blue ribbon for the longest tail.  Atticus won the blue ribbon for being the largest pet.  The snake got ribbon for the tail with the least hair.  The rat did not win anything, but the mouse won two ribbons---one for being the smallest, and one for having the most black on it.

"The rat was softer than the stupid hamster that won the softest animal', said Tabitha in disgust.  She dislikes the very aggressive and pushy mother who was there with the dwarf hamster.  Ah, well....I don't care for her much myself.

I love how your daughter stuck up for the rat ...makes me giggle with such happiness that your child would love the one that a lot of people would freak out about.  rose

Poor rat probably had one strike against it, just for being a rat. :-(  congratulations on the other ribbons.
